Black Forest Pie

  • 1 Pastry Shell (baked)
  • 4 oz unsweetened Baking Chocolate
  • 14 oz sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (whipped)
  • 21 oz can Cherry Pie Filling
  • Almonds (Toasted)

cooking time:

  1. Melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk over low heat in pan.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Combine almond extract and stir well.
  4. Pour it into a bowl and let it cool completely.
  5. Beat it till it becomes smooth.
  6. Mix whipped cream.
  7. Place it into prepared pastry shell.
  8. Let it chill about 4 hours so that it is set.
  9. Serve it with the cherry pie filling.
  10. Garnish with toasted almonds.

Sweet and rich with chocolate, cream and almonds.
